三.語言點導學導練。
1. I can hardly believe we’re in the city centre.我幾乎不相信我們在城市中心。
hardly 副詞,意為“幾乎不”。如:
She hardly ate anything.她幾乎什么都沒吃。
He is hardly ever late for woek.他上班幾乎從不遲到。
注意:
(1)hardly 是否定副詞,變反意疑問句時,反意疑問部分用肯定形式。
He hardly worked last year, did he ?他去年幾乎沒工作,是嗎?
(2)置于句首,句子用部分倒裝。
Hardly can he speak a word. 他幾乎說不出一句話來。
2. hear 表示“聽見,聽到”,常用的結構: hear sb do sth.意為“聽到某人做某事”,指聽到某動作進行的全過程,hear sb doing sth.意為“聽到某人正在做某事”,指聽到動作正在進行。
I heard her sing the song yesterday. 昨天我聽見她唱這首歌。
I hear him talking next door. 我聽到他正在隔壁房間講話。
3.I don’t think they allow people to swim in the lake.我認為他們不允許人們在湖里游泳。
I think…常用來發表說話人的觀點和看法,后面常加賓語從句。若主句含有I/We think /suppo/believe/guess 時,從句的否定意義應在主句上變化,從句無需變化,即否定的轉移。
I don’t guess she’ll come to the party.我猜她不會來參加晚會了。
4. This park is famous for its lake.這個公園以它的湖而出名。
be famous for “因……而出名”,指由于某個與眾不同的特性而出名。、
Hangzhou is famous for its beautiful scenery.杭州因美麗的風景而出名。
be famous as “作為……而出名”,作為某種身份而為眾人所知。
Edsion is famous as an inventor.愛迪生作為一位發明家而出名。
5. at the top of 意為“在……頂端,在……最上方,名列……之前”。
In the end we arrived at the top of the mountain. 最后我們到達了山頂。
