英語重點詞匯解析certain

certain 、confident 、convinced 、positive和 sure 都可以表示“確

信的，肯定的”，但用法和含義有所不同：

n adj. 肯定的，確信的

指確定無疑的，表示說話人有確切的理由或不容置疑的證據，語氣較強，

通常作表語，多用于肯定句或正式的書面語中，常可與positive 換用，

但不可單獨用作回答。

He is absolutely certain/positive that he has met her before.

他絕對肯定他以前見過她。

She's not certain/positive when the movie will begin.

她不確定電影何時開始。

It is certain/positive that every effect must have a cau.

毋庸置疑，有果必有因。

He is certain/positive that the fruit is ripe.

他確信水果熟了。

He was quite certain about/of his attacker's identity.
