　　A few weeks ago I went to an interview and handed off my car to the valet guy.

　　幾周以前，我開車參加一個面試，把車子交給停車的侍者。

　　As I was waiting for the elevator I heard him tell his coworker that he would kill for a coffee, so after my interview I stopped at the cafe in the lobby and grabbed one for him.

　　在我等電梯的時候，我聽見他對他的同事說自己超想來一杯咖啡，于是面試結(jié)束，我在門廊順便買了一杯給他。

　　He was super grateful and asked for my business card.

　　他顯得非常感動，還要了張我的名片。

　　I gave it to him, thinking maybe he wanted to nd me a thank you email or something.

　　我給了他一張，想著他無非會寫封感謝郵件或者做之類(表達謝意)的事情。

　　The next day I got a call from the manager at this big staffing agency in our city. She was the valet guy's cousin and he asked her to call me. I ended up meeting with her in person, and after only a week she found me my dream job. Today was my first day, and it went perfectly.

　　隔天我就接到了那個停車侍者表姐的電話，原來她就是我們當?shù)刈畲舐毥榻Y(jié)構(gòu)經(jīng)理，而且就是那個侍者叫她打給我的。職介經(jīng)理親自和我會面約談，短短一周她就幫我找到了夢寐以求的工作。今天是我上班的第一天，進展非常順利。

　　A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap, changed his clothes & went directly to the surgery block. He found the boy's father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor. On eing him, the dad yelled:

　　在接到一通緊急手術(shù)的電話以后，一名醫(yī)生急匆匆地走進醫(yī)院。他一聽到電話馬上就接了，換了衣服，徑直走到手術(shù)區(qū)域。他看見患者的父親在走廊焦急地來回踱步等待著醫(yī)生，一看見醫(yī)生便咆哮道：

　　"Why did you take all this time to come? Don't you know that my son's life is in danger? Don't you have any n of responsibility?"

　　你怎么這么久才來?知不知道我的兒子危在旦夕?你還有沒有點責(zé)任心?

　　The doctor smiled & said:

　　醫(yī)生面帶微笑說道：

　　"I am sorry, I wasn't in the hospital & I came as fast as I could after receiving the call...... And now, I wish you'd calm down so that I can do my work"

　　“我很抱歉當時我不在醫(yī)院，接到電話以后我也盡可能快的趕來了，現(xiàn)在你需要冷靜，我要開始我的工作了。

　　"Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies now what will you do??" said the father angrily

　　冷靜?!如果現(xiàn)在手術(shù)室里面的是你的兒子，你會冷靜么?如果你自己的兒子要死了，你會怎么做呢?這位父親生氣的說道。

　　The doctor smiled again & replied: "I will say what Job said in the Holy Book "From dust we came & to dust we return, blesd be the name of God". Doctors cannot prolong lives.

　　醫(yī)生依然面帶微笑回答道：我會說，約伯在《圣經(jīng)》里曾說，承蒙上天關(guān)愛，我們源于塵土也終將歸于塵土。

　　The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy,"Thank goodness!, your son is saved!" And without waiting for the father's reply he carried on his way running. "If you have any question, ask the nur!!"

　　手術(shù)進行了幾個小時，之后醫(yī)生高興地從里面走出來。“感謝上帝，你的兒子得救了!“還沒有等父親回答，他就一路小跑走了“如果你有任何問題，問護士吧。”

　　"Why is he so arrogant? He couldn't wait some minutes so that I ask about my son's state" Commented the father when eing the nur minutes after the doctor left.

　　幾分鐘后父親看到護士抱怨道，“他為什么如此傲慢，也不等個幾分鐘讓我問問兒子的情況”

　　The nur answered, tears coming down her face: "His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was in the burial when we called him for your son's surgery. And now that he saved your son's life, he left running to finish his son's burial."

　　“他的兒子昨天出交通事故去世了，我們打電話讓他手術(shù)的時候他正好在善后，現(xiàn)在他救好了你兒子就要趕回去參加葬禮。”說著護士留下了眼淚。

　　Moral - Never judge anyone..... becau you never know how their life is and what they're going through"

　　這個故事告訴我們：不要輕易評價一個人，因為你了解他們的人生也不知道他們此刻正在經(jīng)歷什么。

　　Life is full of miracles. They surround us every day. One of the miracles happened to me recently. I was filling my car’s tank at a local gas station. It was only 10 A.M. but I already felt tired. It was a cloudy, gloomy and rainy day and I hadn’t slept well the night before. After I paid for the gas I turned my car towards the main road. I looked right and left then my brain nt the signal for my foot to push on the gas pedal but nothing happened. Shocked, I shook my head to clear it and gazed down at my foot.

　　生活充滿了奇跡，而且每天就在我們身邊上演。最近我也碰到的一樁不可思議的事情。當時我正在當?shù)氐囊患壹佑驼炯佑停m說只有上午十點，但我卻感覺相當疲憊。那天天氣多云陰沉看著要下雨，之前晚上我也沒有睡好。付過油錢以后我就準備開車上主路，我左右看看，然后大腦發(fā)出信號讓腳踩油門，但是什么都沒有發(fā)生。一陣惶恐，我搖搖頭試圖清醒，然后低下頭看我的腳。

　　Just as I did, though, a mi-truck roared past my car doing 60 mph. My weary, bleary eyes hadn’t en it when I had looked just 2 conds earlier. If I had been pulling out when I should have been my little green car would have been smashed and I would have most likely been killed. I sat there for a long time quietly thanking God for sparing my life before pulling out on the road and heading home. This time both my brain and foot worked perfectly.

　　就在這時一輛半掛汽車以每小時60英里的速度從我車旁邊呼嘯而過。兩秒前，我還用疲憊的雙眼，視線模糊的看了，并沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)這一情況。但凡當時我的車駛出一點，那現(xiàn)在我的綠色小車肯定被撞了個稀巴爛，我也已經(jīng)很可能一命嗚呼了。我在車里靜坐良久，感謝上帝躲過一劫，之后再開車回家，這次我的腦子和腳配合默契。

　　As I looked back on that moment later I still couldn’t understand it. Did God prevent my brain’s signal from reaching my foot? Did an angel grab my toes to keep them from pressing on the gas? One question kept coming back into my mind as well: why? Why did I get this miracle? Why did God spare my life this day? Finally, I felt the answer forming deep within my heart and mind. I heard the words coming from my soul saying: “You still have more to do. Your work is not done yet!”

　　之后回憶起那一刻，我還是很費解，難道是上帝阻止了我腦子發(fā)給腳的信號?還是有天使拉住了我的腳不讓踩油門?還有一個問題在我的腦海中久久縈繞，為什么?是我碰上這樣的奇跡。最后答案從我的心理和腦中浮現(xiàn)。我仿佛聽到自己的靈魂在說，你還有事情要做，你還有許多事情沒有完成。
