一、Teaching goals:
1.強化對1--12序數詞的認讀、理解及運用;
2.能準確理解圖文意思,了解十二生肖動物名稱及排位情況;
3.了解自己與家人朋友生肖屬相的基礎上,樹立熱愛動物,保護
動物的意識。

2.能熟練地用英語表達自己與家人生肖屬相。

1. Greetings
T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you?
Ss: I’m fine, thanks. And you?

Step2. New Concepts
(一) The twelve animals :
T: In China, years have names. Each year has an animal name.
Look!
Show the twelve animal pictures, teaches and explains.
The rat is the first.
This is an ox.
Here’s a tiger.
What’s this? A rabbit.
This is a dragon.
Here’s a snake.
This is a hor.
You know this animal! It’s a sheep.
You know this one, too! It’s a monkey.
What’s this? A rooster.
Do you know this one? It’s a dog.
The twelfth animal is a pig.
T:How many animals are there? Let’s e…, one, two,
three…twelve! ( show the animal pictures and count ) There are
twelve animals. 2. Drill about the 12 animal words:
·Point, ask and answer.( ppt顯示圖片,指問回答)
·Drive the train.(開火車讀12個生肖單詞)
·Say the animals and stand up(The __ , stand up…)
(二)復習強化1—12的序數詞
1.T: As we know that the rat is the first.
The ox is the cond. The tiger is the third. The rabbit is the
fourth. The dragon is the fifth. The snake is the sixth. The hor
is the venth. The sheep is the eighth. The monkey is the ninth.
The rooster is the tenth. The dog is the eleventh. The pig is the
twelfth.
(老師說兩三個其他引導讓學生自己表達)
2.匯報1—12數字的序數詞。
3. Match and report.(完成課本P61頁上練習,匯報訂正)
4. Order and line.(請同學戴頭飾上臺快速按生肖順序排列)
5. 填寫正確的不定冠詞(a/an)

T:We have knew the twelve animal names, do you know
how to express about your year? Let’s learn par2---What is your

本課是冀教版五年級上冊第四單元Lesson21: What year is it?,
本課是在上節課學習了中國最隆重,最傳統的節日---春節的相關知識
的基礎上學習有關于生肖及其排名以及有關于生肖年、今年什么年,
你的生肖以及在此基礎上拓展學習了有關于你家人生肖的問答句型的
學習。本課圍繞最基本、最常用的生肖單詞及十二個序數詞和基本句
型:What year is it ? It is the year of the__.以及有關于你自己及家人
生肖的問答句:What is your year? My year is the year of the___.逐
步展開教學活動和實踐活動。同時強調以任務為中心的語言學習,采
用完成課題式的教學方法,把探究性學習引入到英語學習中,最后使
學生“樂說,會說,能交際”,感覺到
學英語“It’s fun. It’s easy”!
本課知識脈絡相對清晰,基于以上分析,我的設計力求以學生為
主體,以任務為中心,以活動為方式,放手讓學生自主發現問題,分
析問題,解決問題。
