今天是星期六，是一個陽光燦爛的日子，爸爸媽媽帶我去杭州的河坊街玩。

Today is Saturday. It's a sunny day. Mom and Dad take me to

Hefang Street in Hangzhou.

河坊街上可真是熱鬧非凡！來來往往的人群川流不息，各式各樣的手工藝品五花八門，令人眼花繚亂。我們邊走邊看，忽然看見在一個小攤位上圍滿了人，我趕緊沖上前去看個究竟，原來人們都圍在那兒挑萬花筒呢！我拿了一個畫著京劇臉譜的萬花筒，朝里面望了望，驚訝地看到萬花筒里出現(xiàn)了變化多端的圖案，我就拉著媽媽讓她給我買了一個萬花筒。

Hefang Street is really bustling! The flow of people came and

went, and the variety of handicrafts was dazzling. As we walked,

we saw that there were people around a small stall. I rushed

forward to e what was going on. It turned out that people were

all there to pick up kaleidoscope! I took a kaleidoscope with the

face of Peking Opera and looked inside. I was surprid to e

the varied patterns in the kaleidoscope. I took my mother and

asked her to buy me a kaleidoscope.

回家后，我就開始研究萬花筒為什么會出現(xiàn)這么變化多端的圖案呢？我問爸爸媽媽，他們也說不出個原因來。于是，我上網(wǎng)查了查。原來，萬花筒的秘密就在于光的反射，它的`圖案是靠玻璃鏡子反射而成的。它是由三面鏡子組成一個三棱鏡，在一頭放上一些各色玻璃碎片，這些碎片經(jīng)過三面玻璃鏡子的反射，便會出現(xiàn)對稱的圖案，看上去就像一朵朵盛開的花。只要不斷地轉(zhuǎn)動萬花筒，玻璃碎片發(fā)生新的組合，就會有無窮的新圖案和新花樣。

When I got home, I began to study why the kaleidoscope

was so changeable? I asked mom and Dad, and they couldn't

explain why. So I checked it online. It turns out that the cret of

kaleidoscope lies in the reflection of light. Its pattern is formed

by the reflection of glass mirror. It consists of three mirrors to

form a prism. Put some pieces of glass at one end. The pieces

will be reflected by the three mirrors, and then symmetrical

patterns will appear, which look like blooming flowers. As long as

the kaleidoscope is continuously rotated, new combinations of

glass fragments will take place, and there will be endless new

patterns and patterns.
