詞語用法

notice作名詞表示“通知”時，短語at short notice中的at在美式英語中可用on代替;

give notice或have notice一般指離職或遷讓的通知：當后面跟不定式，notice前面可加冠詞a。give notice后面也可跟that從句。

He gave me a notice to leave by the end of the week.
