“Thanks, but no thanks”是一種禮貌拒絕別人的表達，意思是：

謝謝你，但還是不用了

用來表示你對某人的提議很感激，但你不想接受這個提議;有時在你并不感激的時候幽默地使用

"Thank you for the offer, but no thanks to the offer". "No thanks" is kind of a "t phra" , so we include the thanks again even though we've already said it once at the start.

謝謝你提出了邀請，但是我對你的邀請的回復(fù)是“不了”。“No thanks”某種程度上是否定回復(fù)的固定用法，所以這個說法會又包含一個“thanks”，雖然我們已經(jīng)說過一次thanks了。

5. I really want to, but I got hundreds of things to do.

我想去，可是我有好多好多事情要做。

別人邀請你參加他們的活動，就算你不想去也不要直截了當?shù)卣f：“No, I don't want to.” 這么說別人下次就不會再找你了。

先說“I really want to”，或是“I really love to”，然后再說“but I got hundreds of things to do. ”這樣說比較禮貌。不會讓別人尷尬。

還可以說，“I want to ,but I’m not allowed.” 我想去，但是父母不允許。
