Unit 1（本單元重點是電話用語和圍繞手機展開的）
1. --- Hello, is that Kitty? (你好，你是凱特嗎？)
--- Yes, this is Kitty. Who’s that? (是的，我是凱特。你是誰？)
2. --- Hello, may I speak to Kitty? (你好，我可以和凱特通話嗎？)
--- Sorry, Kitty is out. This is Cathy. Can I take a message?
(對不起，凱特不在，我是凱西。我可以給她帶口信嗎？)
--- Sure. Could you plea ask Kitty to call me? (你能讓凱特給我打電話嗎？)

打電話用語：
① Hello, this is + 人名. ② Hello, this is + 人名+ speaking. ①② 你好，我是……
Who’s that? 你是誰？
May I speak to + 人名 ? 我可以和……通話嗎？
Unit 2（本單元重點是圍繞飲食展開的對話）
1. --- What would you like to eat? (你們想吃什么？)
--- We’d like two bowls of noodles. (我們要兩碗面條。)
--- What kind of noodles would you like, beef noodles or tomato noodles ?
(你們想要哪種面條，牛肉面還是西紅柿面？)
--- A bowl of beef noodles and a bowl of tomato noodles, plea.
(請給我們一碗牛肉面，一碗西紅柿面)
2. --- What would you like to drink? (你想喝點兒什么？)
--- I’d like a bottle of juice. (我想喝瓶果汁。)
3. --- Would you like something to drink? (你想喝些什么嗎？)

點餐用語：
1. What would you like to eat/drink? 你想吃/喝點兒什么？
We’d like … I’d like … 我們/我想要……
May I have … ? 我可以要點兒……嗎？
Unit 3（本單元重點是談論職業）
1. --- Who’s the young woman? (那個年輕的女人是誰？)
--- Her name is Alice. (她叫愛麗絲。)
2. --- What does he do? (他是干什么的？/ 他的工作是什么？)
--- He is a doctor. He is from Shanghai. But he worked on the grassland.
(他是一名記者。他來自上海，但是他在草原工作。)
詢問職業：
What do/does + 人 + do ? 某人是干什么的？/ 某人的職業是什么？
人 + be + a / an + 職業身份. 某人是……
be from + 地點 = come from + 地點 來自于……
Unit 4（以運動會為話題）
1. --- What sport did you take part in? (你參加了什么運動？)
--- I took part in the 100-meter race and the long jump. (我參加了100米賽跑和跳遠。)
--- Did you win? (贏了嗎？)
--- Yes. I was the first in the 100-meter race. (是的，100米賽跑我得了第一名。)
2. --- What sport did he take part in? (他參加了什么運動？)
--- He took part in the throwing. (他參加了投擲運動。)
--- Did he win? (他贏了嗎？)
--- Yes, he did. (是的，他贏了。)
詢問參加運動會：
What sport did + 人+ take part in ? 某人參加了什么運動項目？
What sport will + 人 + take part in? 某人將要參加什么運動項目？
人 + was / were + the first + in the + 運動名稱。 某人在某運動比賽中是第一名。
Unit 5（談論人物性格特征）
1. --- What’s your favorite subject? (你最喜歡什么課程？)
--- My favorite subject is Math. (我最喜歡的課程是數學。)
2. --- What is he like? (他怎么樣？)
--- He is kind to us. (他對我們很和藹。)
3. --- What do you think of her? (你認為她怎么樣？)
--- She is a little rious. (她有點兒嚴肅。)
詢問任務性格特點：
What’s your favorite … ? 你最喜歡的……是……？
①What is /are + 人+ like? ② What do you think of + 人？ (你認為)某人怎么樣？
人+ is/are + 性格形容詞.
Unit 6（以校園活動義賣為話題）
1. There will be a sale at our school. (我們學校將會有一場義賣。)
2. --- What will you ll? (你打算義賣什么？)
--- I will ll some magazines and color pencils. (我打算賣一些雜志和彩筆。)
3. --- What shall we do with the money? (我們應該怎么樣用這些錢呢？)
--- We’ll give it to the poor pupils in the mountains. (我們將把這些錢送給山里的貧困學生。)
There will be a / an … + 時間/ 地點. （某個時間在某個地點）將要有……
Unit 7（以方位和旅游為話題）
1. --- Hainan is in the south of China. It’s too hot in summer. (海南在中國的南方。夏天很熱。)
--- How about Shanghai? It’s in the southeast. It’s by the a and it is not too hot.
(上海呢？它在東南方，靠近大海，不是很熱。)
2. --- Where did you go last summer? (去年夏天你去哪里了？)
--- I went to Lhasa. (我去了拉薩。)
--- Where is Lhasa? (拉薩在哪里？)
--- It's in the west of China. (它在中國西部。)
--- What do you think of the people there? (你認為那里的人們怎么樣？)
--- They are very friendly. (他們非常友好。)
方位表達：
A + be + in the 方向 + of + B. A在B的……方向
Unit 8（談論夢想）
