1. 整體設計思路、指導依據說明
本單元選自PEP Primary English Students’ Book four Unit 2 What time is it?
本單元由三個板塊構成,分別為Part A Let’s talk & Let’s Learn, Part B Let’s talk &
Let’s learn, Part C Story time。本課時選自Part C,講述了愚人節那天Zip把Zoom
的鬧鐘調早了一個小時,愚弄Zoom的故事。四年級的孩子他們喜歡讀故事,樂
于表演,已經知道一些愚人節的文化,因此在課堂中以愚人節為故事背景,讓學
生說說已知的愚人節文化激活已有的背景知識,提出自己想知道的內容,激發孩
子學習的興趣,在故事學習中關注學生的讀圖能力,利用圖片想象故事內容,引
導孩子多提問題激活思維,理解故事大意,最終同桌合作表演故事。
2. 教學背景分析
教學內容分析:
本課選自四年級下冊第二單元C Story time,本課是以愚人節為話題展開的故事,
講述了在愚人節早上Zip故意把時鐘撥快了一個小時,提前叫Zoom起床。學生
除了復習鞏固句型What time is it? It’s time to get up.以及get up, go to school等短
語以外,還要通過圖片、上下文理解wake up, wait, April Fool’s Day, I’m late for
school.等。同時讓學生在閱讀中了解愚人節的文化,并在想象的基礎上理解故事,
最終能夠同桌合作表演故事。
學生情況分析:
學生在這一單元的前兩個課時中已學過時間表達法,能提問What time is it? 并
能區分運用It’s time to …/ It’s time for …等。故事體裁的文本,容易激發學生學
習的興趣,但是他們僅學過一年多的英語,語言承載量小,導致很多時候不敢開
口說,不敢想象。本節課以圖片為突破口,在讀圖的基礎上引導孩子大膽想象,
勇于說出自己的想法。

(設計意圖:從老師的時刻表過渡到今天我們所要閱讀的故事,觀察故事封面發
現故事主人公Zoom和Zip,激發學生興趣,引導學生說出已知的愚人節文化激
活學生已有的背景知識,觀看視頻進行愚人節文化滲透。)
Ⅱ. While-reading

(設計意圖:在讀故事前啟發孩子提問題,培養孩子的問題意識,激發閱讀的興

(設計意圖:通過看故事的最后一圖,了解故事的主要組成要素,引導學生抓住
關鍵信息:時間、地點、人物……)

(設計意圖:由于上個問題中的What在圖片中還得不到解決,因而進一步引導學
生觀看視頻了解故事內容。但是視頻內容是無旁白的,學生需要邊看視頻邊發揮
想象獲取故事大意,知道Zip對Zoom開了個玩笑。在視頻中加深對愚人節joke
文化的理解。)

1. Sum up the story.

2. Act the story out in pairs. Pay attention to the pronunciation, fluency and
feelings.
(設計意圖:愛表演是孩子的天性,以同桌合作的方式讓學生表演故事,在表演
中運用語言。)
Ⅳ. Homework
1. Read the story for 10 minutes.
2. Imagine the end of story and share it.
