烏蘭巴托)摘要:蒙古中部地區(qū)的三達(dá)河組(HsandaGolFormation)是亞洲漸新世陸相地層的經(jīng)典地層之一。三達(dá)河組的沉積巖層現(xiàn)被分成兩個(gè)巖性段:上部早漸新世晚期-?晚漸新世山地段(ShandMember)和下部早漸新世早期塔塔爾段(TatalMember);兩巖段間有時(shí)夾有KharKhoroo玄武巖層(BryantandMcKenna,1995;MengandMcKenna,1998)。該玄武巖層的時(shí)代用40Ar/39Ar法被確定為距今31.5Ma(H??cketal.,1999,他們稱其為BasaltI)。三達(dá)河組中產(chǎn)有豐富的哺乳動(dòng)物化石,特別是嚙齒類化石(MatthewandGranger,1923;Kowalski,1974;RusllandZhai,1987;H??cketal.,1999)。近年來,本文的后一作者在三達(dá)河組中又采集到一批嚙齒類化石,其中包括松鼠和山河貍2科的化石。本文是對(duì)這兩類化石新材料的記述?,F(xiàn)生的松鼠科分異很大,而且大多數(shù)都分布在亞洲。然而,松鼠科化石在古近紀(jì)時(shí)在北美和歐洲卻很豐富。在北美出現(xiàn)于晚始新世,在漸新世時(shí)已明顯分異;在歐洲出現(xiàn)于早漸新世,在中新世時(shí)分異很大。相反,亞洲古近紀(jì)的松鼠化石卻發(fā)現(xiàn)得很少,標(biāo)本也很破碎。已報(bào)道的只有3件標(biāo)本。2件產(chǎn)自黨河下游地區(qū):Bohlin(1946)報(bào)道的晚漸新世的Sciurussp.,標(biāo)本只是2枚單個(gè)臼齒(M3和m2);王伴月、邱占祥(2004)報(bào)道的早漸新世的黨河鮮松鼠(Oligosciurusdangheensis),標(biāo)本只是一段帶m1~2的下頜骨。還有一件是Minjin(2004)報(bào)道的蒙古漸新世的三達(dá)河克熱姆鼠(Kheremhsandgoliensis),標(biāo)本也只是一段帶m1~3的下頜骨。本文報(bào)道的松鼠化石產(chǎn)自蒙古國的巴彥洪戈?duì)柺〉乃w貝(TashgainBel)地點(diǎn)的三達(dá)河組上部山地段,時(shí)代為早漸新世晚期-?晚漸新世。這批松鼠化石標(biāo)本包括1件具P3~M3的上頜骨(PC3629)和2段下頜骨(PC36210和PC36211)。這是亞洲古近紀(jì)目前已知的最好的一批松鼠化石標(biāo)本,代表松鼠科Kherem屬的一新種:亞洲克熱姆鼠(.)。其主要特征是頰齒較大,較寬;下內(nèi)尖的高度和下次尖的大小從m1到m3變化不大,彼此相近;下內(nèi)脊較明顯;下內(nèi)尖較明顯,與下后邊脊間有淺溝分開等。ca的形態(tài)特征表明,Kherem屬應(yīng)歸入北美的Cedromurinae亞科。新的發(fā)現(xiàn)表明,亞洲漸新世的松鼠已發(fā)生了分異,至少可分為3支。以Kherem為代表的一支,與北美早期的cedromurines有較近的系統(tǒng)關(guān)系。它可能是由類似于北美Oligospermophilus的種類演化并遷徙到亞洲來的?,F(xiàn)生的山河貍只有一種(Aplodontiarufa),僅生活在北美西部沿海地區(qū)。但從始新世到中新世,山河貍卻遍布全北區(qū)。它們?cè)诒泵垒^繁盛,分異大,但在亞洲發(fā)現(xiàn)得很少。在亞洲漸新世地層中雖曾報(bào)道過3屬4種山河貍化石,但材料都很少(Prosciurusordosicus和P.?shantun2gensis均只有一枚單個(gè)的牙)。山河貍化石在蒙古漸新世地層的新發(fā)現(xiàn)表明,亞洲漸新世的山河貍化石比已知的要豐富。1)國家自然科學(xué)基金重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目(編號(hào):40232023)資助。收稿日期:2004-08-1886古 ConclusionAsisnowknown,inAsiatheOligocenesciuridsincludefourspeciesofthreegenera:gosciurusdangheensisfromDangheareainGansu,China,erialofthetwoformismoresimilartotheNorthAmericancedromurines,especiallyOligospermophilus,eneraofSciuridaewerereportedfromOligoceneofEurope:Palaeosciurus,Heteroxerusand2期
