The bar graph above shows various activities which Australian children choo

for their leisure time at the age stage from 5 to 14.

Overall, boys are more active than girls on most activities. The most popular

activity is watching TV or Videos, all boys and girls, accordingly, participate in this

after school. What boys prefer to do is playing electronic or computer games and

riding bikes, at the proportion of 80% and 78% respectively. They appeals to girls as

well, at 60% and 58% respectively, less than boys, though. More girls than boys,at

about 59%, however, choo to do art and craft for oarding or

rollerblading is the least popular activity among children at this age (39% of boys and

23% of girls).

In conclusion, boys in Australia take part in more leisure activities which require

more energy and participation when girls are otherwi more likely to choo quiet

ones. Mobile phones have never been making up so large a part of people’s life than in the

modern world. Problem aris as someone say that mobile phones should be banned

in public areas. From my perspective, an opposite view is held for the following

reasons.

Firstly, there is no doubt that we need to maintain quietness and try not to disturb

others in certain public places as libraries. People holding the idea that mobile phone

be banned claim that the ring tones and calls people make will be a great bother.

Additionally, there is another concern about privacy being invaded in public transport

when someone cretly take photos by mobile phones. However, manners make man,

as a film line goes, simply keep mobile phone out may not be as uful as thought on

avoiding disturbance or candid cameras. Incidents still can happen in mobile

phone-free condition if someone deliberately let it.

Secondly, mobile phones have functions which are of great u and they are bringing

more conveniences to people as technology grows. For instance, consumers can pay

for their goods or transportation fee on mobile apps nowadays, considerably reduce

cash carriage, and improve curity on payments using built-in fingerprint locks as

pin code. If smart phones are banned in public areas like shops or public transport as

mentioned, it would be valueless developing technology and science for people

cannot enjoy the achievements when in need of.

In short, though there are disadvantages for using mobile phones in public places,

the prohibition on this kind of device is not a effective way to improve the problem.
