【馬云勵志英文演講】年輕人,別抱怨

The best ast you have is that you are young. Don't complain. Let the other

people complain. The opportunity lie, always lies where people complain.

年輕就是你所擁有的最棒的資產，不要抱怨，讓其他人去抱怨，機會都在人們的抱怨里。

I did not have a rich father.

我沒有一個有錢的父親。

Tried 3 times for university. All failed.

嘗試三次考大學都失敗了。

I applied for Harvard for 10 times. All failed, they don't even want to e me.

我十次申請哈佛大學，都失敗了，他們甚至不想見到我。

For the last time, I went to the teachers' college which was considered the

third or fourth class of my city.

最后一次，我去了師范大學，那排在我那個城市的第三或者第四。

I applied jobs for 30 times. Got rejected.

我應聘工作，被拒絕了30次。

It was so difficult at that time, I was so frustrated.

那個時候真是太難了，我好沮喪。

Becau I taught in the university. My pay was $10 a month.

因為我在大學教書，我每個月的薪水是10美元。

Becau I could not find a good job in 1994.

因為在1994年時我找不到好工作。

discusd that I am going to do something called Internet and 23 of them

against it, they said it's a stupid idea.

所以和別人討論說我想做一個叫互聯網的東西，而其中 23 人都反對，他們說這是愚蠢的想法。

we have never heard about Internet and you know nothing about the

computer.

我們從來沒聽過什么是網路，而且你對電腦一竅不通。

And I never thought I was smart, nobody believed that I could be successful.

我從來不認為自己聰明，沒有人相信我能成功。

becau everybody said, "Well, this guy think differently, think crazily, you

know think about something that will never work."

因為大家都說：“這個人想得跟別人都不一樣，有瘋狂的想法，想一些永遠行不通的事?！?

I tried to borrow3000 US dollars from the banks, took me 3 months, but I

still cannot get it.

我試著向銀行借 3000 美金花了我三個月的時間，還是無法借到。

We talked to over 30 or 40 venture capitalists, everybody said,"No. Forget

it."

我們和 30 到 40 位的創業投資家溝通每個人都說：“不可能的，這事兒不成?！?

A lot of people said Alibaba is a terrible model as I said, "I believe it. I think

this thing could be big. I never thought it will be that big like today."

很多人說阿里巴巴是一個很糟的項目，而我說：“我相信它，我相信它能變得強大，不過我從來沒想過它能有像今天一樣那么大的規模?！?

I believe that something, something is waiting for me there.

我相信會有個什么東西在那里等著我。

and I have to work hard to prove mylf.

而我要做的就是努力去證明我自己。

That was the tough experience.

那是很艱難的經歷。

so we gathered 50thousand US dollars from 18 founders.

我們從 18 位創始人那募集了 50000 美金。

We started.

就開始創業了。

For the first three years, we did not have even 1 dollar revenue from our

business.

一開始的三年，我們沒有賺到任何一毛錢的收入。

It was not easy.

這并非簡單的事。

Why it keeps on going ahead, going forward?

但為什么我們還是持續前進？

Becau I received lots of email of thanks from the customer, they say this is

such a great thing, we cannot pay you but this thing helped us. If you keep

on helping us, one day, you will be successful. And I believe this.

因為我收到許多客人寄來表達感謝的電子郵件，他們說這是很棒的東西我們沒辦法付錢給你，但這個東西幫了我們很多忙。如果你持續幫助我們，總有一天，你會成功的。而我相信了這句話。

Little by little, we built up our business. Little by little, we're good on our

ecosystem of the infrastructure. And now, after 16 years, we have a Alibaba

group, We have a T-mall group,We have a Taobao group, We have Alipay.

一點一滴地，我們創立了企業，一點一滴地，我們在基礎建設的生態系統上發展得很好，而16 年后的現在，我們有了阿里巴巴集團，我們有了天貓，有了淘寶，有了支付寶。

And people said,"You are so smart, how could you make a company like

that?"

人們說：“你真聰明，你是怎么建立這樣的公司的？”

Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, the Jack Welch, Larry Page, Mark Zuckerberg,

the difference between tho people and other people they are always

optimistic for the future.

比爾蓋茨、沃倫巴菲特、杰克威爾許、拉里佩奇、馬克扎克伯格，這些成功的人們和其他人們的差異就在 他們永遠都對未來保持樂觀。

They never complain.

他們從來不抱怨。

They always try to solve the problems of the others.

他們總是試著去解決其他人的問題。

When you are optimistic, it's always a opportunity.

當你樂觀時，就總有機會的。

People same here today.

今天在這的人們也是一樣地問說：

"Jack. Where's the opportunity. I don't have a job. I don't have this. I don't

have that."

“馬云，機會在哪里？我沒有工作，我沒有這個，我沒有那個”。

We are at the best of time of this century. The best ast you have is that you

are young. Don't complain. Let the other people complain. The opportunity

lie, always lies where people complain.

我們身在這個世紀最好的時代里，年輕就是你所擁有的最棒的資產，不要抱怨，讓其他人去抱怨，機會都在人們的抱怨里。

Think about how you can make things different.

去想想你能怎么讓事情變得不同。

"Is it anything that I can do to make the difference?"

“有什么是我可以做到去改變的事情？”

And then we think about this, start to do it. I saw a lot of people, young

people have fantastic ideas every evening. But in the morning, they go to the

office again.

我們思考著，然后開始去做。我看見很多年輕人晚上都有很棒的想法。但一到了早上，他們又得去上班了。

Being entrepreneur, you have to do the things before the other people do.

要當一個企業家，要做的就是在其他人行動之前就開始行動。

You have to wake up before other people wake up. You have to be more

buried than the others.

你必須比其他人起的早。你必須比其他人埋頭苦干。

U instinct. Everything you do is to the need of the customer, to everybody,

to any person.

用你的直覺，你所做的所有事情都要去滿足客戶、所有人和任何人的需求。

Tomorrow is new. Make the move. Make action.

明天是全新的一天，邁開步伐，開始行動吧。

Whether investors believe this or not, whether your friends believe it or not,

whether your parents, believe it or not, that's not important. You believe it,

your team believe it and worked day and night on this.

不論投資者們相不相信，不論你的朋友們相不相信，不論你的家人們相不相信，這都不重要，重要的是，你相信，你的團隊相信，而你們沒日沒夜地努力都為了這個。

That's all the things happen. Make enough mistakes. You fall, you stand up.

Any mistake is an income, is a wonderful revenue. Don't worry about the

money. Money follow the people. People should follow the dreams. If you

have a dream, just to go ahead.

創業就是這么來的，犯了夠多的錯誤，你跌倒了，然后爬起來，任何錯誤都是一種進帳，是很棒的收入，別擔心金錢的問題，有人的地方就會有錢，人們應該追尋夢想，如果你有夢想，就往前追吧。

I think nobody can conquer the world. We only can rve the world, either

work for the others or work for itlf. And I choo the way work for mylf.

Working for mylf that means working for the society. If you really want to

work for yourlf, think about the others, becau only when the other

people successful, when the other people happy, you will be successful, you

will be happy.

我認為沒有人能征服世界，我們只能服務這個世界,不管是為他人工作還是為自己工作，而我選擇為自己工作，為自己工作代表為整個社會工作。

如果你真的想為自己工作，要為其他人著想，因為只有當其他人也成功，當其他人也開心時，你才會成功，你才會開心。
