The fox and the grapes

One hot summer day a fox was walking through an orchard. He stopped before

a bunch of grapes. They were ripe and juicy.

"I'm just feeling thirsty," he thought. So he backed up a few paces, got a

running start, jumped up, but could not reach the grapes.

He walked back. One, two, three, he jumped up again, but still, he misd

the grapes.

The fox tried again and again, but never succeeded. At last he decided to

give it up.

He walked away with his no in the air, and said“I am sure they are

sour.”

狐貍和葡萄

一個炎熱的夏日,狐貍走過一個果園,他停在一大串熟透而多汁的葡萄前.

狐貍想：“我正口渴呢.”于是他后退了幾步,向前一沖,跳起來,卻無法夠到葡萄.

狐貍后退又試.一次,兩次,三次,但是都沒有得到葡萄.

狐貍試了一次又一次,都沒有成功.最后,他決定放棄,他昂起頭,邊走邊說：“葡萄還沒有成熟,我敢肯定它是酸的.”

寓意: 在經歷了許多嘗試而不能獲得成功的時候,有些人往往故意輕視成功,以此來尋求心理安慰.

狐貍和公雞 Fox and cock

One morning a fox es a cock .He thinks ,"This is my breakfast.''

He comes up to the cock and says ,"I know you can sing very well .Can you

sing for me ?''

The cock is glad .He clos his eyes and begins to sing .

The fox es that and catches him in his mouth and carries him away.

The people in the field e the fox . They cry ,"Look ,look !The fox is

carrying the cock away .''

The cock says to the fox ," Mr Fox ,do you understand ? The people say you

are carrying their cock away .Tell them it is yours .Not theirs.''

The fox opens his mouth and says ,"The cock is mine ,not yours.''

Just then the cock runs away from the fox and flies into the tree.

一天早晨，一只狐貍看見一只公雞。

他想：“這是我的早飯。”

他走向公雞并說：“我知道你歌唱得很美。你能為我唱歌嗎?”

公雞聽了很高興。他閉上眼睛開始唱歌。

狐貍看到后用嘴叼住并走了。

在田里的人們看見了喊，“看，看，狐貍抓走了公雞。”

公雞對狐貍說;“狐貍先生，你知道嗎?人們說你正在叼走他們的公雞。告訴他們我是你的，不是他們的。”狐貍張開他的嘴說，“公雞是我的，不是你們的。”

就在那時，公雞從狐貍的嘴里逃跑并飛進了樹。”

The Rabbit and the Fox

Once there was a naughty rabbit. He likes to play tricks, and it made

other animals angry. But it was very different to catch him.

One day, a wolf said to a fox, "I have an idea to catch the rabbit. You go

back home and get into bed. I'll go to the rabbit and tell him that you are

dead. If he comes to e you, you'll

jump up and catch him."

"Good idea," said the fox, "I'll do that." Then fox ran home and got into

bed. The wolf went to the rabbit's hou and said, "Mr. Rabbit, have you heard

Mr. Fox is dead?" The wolf stood at

the door, and then he went away.

"Really? I haven't heard anything about it." The rabbit said to himlf,

so he decided to go and e if it was true. He went to the fox's hou and

looked in through the window. He saw the

fox lying in bed. He opened the door and went in. he looked at the fox

and said, "Mr. Wolf says is dead, but he doesn't look like a dead fox.

A dead fox always open his mouth."

When the fox heard this, he thought, "I'll show him that I am dead." So he

opened his mouth.

The rabbit saw the fox open his mouth, and he knew the fox was not dead.

He ran out of the hou as fast as he could.

兔子和狐貍

以前有一個淘氣的兔子，他喜歡惡作劇，這使得其他動物很生氣。但是想抓住這是兔子可不容易。

一個，狼對狐貍說："我想到一個辦法可以抓住這只兔子，你回家睡在床上，我去告訴告訴兔子你死了。如果他來看你，你就跳起來抓住它。"

"真的嗎?我怎么沒有聽說呢。"兔子自言自語地說。于是他決定去看看是不是真的。她來到狐貍的房前并從窗口往里看，他看見狐貍躺在床上。于是，他打開門并走了進去。他看著狐貍說著;"狼先生說狐貍死了，但他不像一只死狐貍，因為死狐貍是張開嘴巴的。"

當狐貍聽見這話，他想"我要讓他知道我是死的。于是他張開了嘴巴。

兔子看見狐貍張開了嘴巴，他知道狐貍沒有死，于是他飛快從房子里跑了出來。
