形容詞后綴like、some、free、less、wi、ward、ish

1、英語(yǔ)中只有三個(gè)否定后綴：-less、-free、-proof。

◆ -less 和-free 類似，都表示 not 和 without 之意，其句法功能都是把名詞轉(zhuǎn)變

成形容詞。例如：

hatless:： not wearing a hat

salt-free：without salt

◆ -proof 的詞干常為名詞，詞干加上-proof 后用作形容詞或動(dòng)詞。例如：

a bulletproof car： car designed not to be harmed by bullets

to bulletproof a car：to make a car bulletproof

2、-ike表形容詞,“像…一樣”

dreamlike 如夢(mèng)般的（dream夢(mèng)）

steellike 鋼鐵般的（steel鋼）

womanlike 女人氣的（woman女人）

childlike 孩子般的（child孩子）

vicelike 牢固的，堅(jiān)實(shí)的（vice鉗子）

warlike 好戰(zhàn)的（war戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)）

3、some表形容詞，“充滿…的，具有…傾向的”

frolicsome 快活的（frolic嬉戲）

meddlesome 愛(ài)管閑事的（meddle干涉）

mettlesome 精神抖擻的（mettle精神，氣質(zhì)）

loathsome 令人作吐的（loath惡心，討厭）

noisome 惡臭的（noi臭+some）

winsome 媚人的；漂亮的（win贏得…贏得好感）

cumbersome 笨重的（cumber障礙物）

quarrelsome 好爭(zhēng)吵的（quarrel爭(zhēng)吵）

lonesome 孤獨(dú)的（lone單獨(dú)）
