一、用作動詞

表示“介意”、“在乎”等，其后接動詞時要用動名詞;表示“留意”、“當心”等，其后接動詞時要用不定式。如：

Do you mind helping us? 請你幫我們一下忙好嗎?

I’m sure he wouldn’t mind your going with us. 我確定他不會反對你同我們一起去。

There will be a meeting tonight. Mind not to be late. 今晚有會議,

留意別遲到。

二、用作名詞

表示“腦子”、“心思”等，通常用作可數名詞。如：

I’ve a good mind to go home. 我很想回家。

He has a mind for science. 他有學科學的頭腦。

We are all of one mind on this subject. 在這個問題上我們大家意見全都。

注：在某些諺語或固定短語中，可能是不行數的。如：

三、用于 Would [Do] ?

1. 該句型意為“請你……好不好?”、“如果……你見怪嗎?”，用would 比用 do 更客氣委婉，但通常不用 will;其后可接動名詞(但不接不定式)或 if從句;接動名詞時，依據狀況可以帶規律主語;接if 從句時，若句首用的是 Would，從句謂語通常要用過去式。比較：

2. 對該句型的回答與漢語的習慣不同，留意回答是針對 mind

而言的，即：

表示懇求允許或者征求對方意見。

一、基本用法

1、其后可以接 if 從句，但不能接whether從句。接if從句時，從句的謂語通常要用過去式。

2、后面可以接動名詞，但不能接不定式。

例：Would you mind helping me ? 請幫幫我的忙好嗎?

1、表示同意(不介意)的答語：

2、表示不同意(介意)的答語：

三、特別用法

Do you mind ... ... 還可以表示生氣或反感。意為“別來這一套”“你怎么搞的”
