"American families will only rai their children until they are 18
years old. Once they are over 18 years old, American children have
to make their own living. On the one hand, they have to move out
and live, on the other hand, they have to work and support
themlves." This is a passage I read in a magazine. It makes people
laugh when I read it today. This statement not only exaggerates the
independence of Americans, but also does not hold water. At the
age of 18, some children haven't graduated from high school, and
some just go to college. How do they make a living? Don't believe
it. More than a decade ago, this statement was particularly
authoritative, and few people questioned it. However, with the rapid
development of China's economy and the development of the
Internet era, the United States is no longer a mysterious country.
With the increasing number of people going to the United States,
there are more and more online discussions about the United States,
and this "prai for the United States" statement has become
untenable. According to a survey conducted by an American
institution (Merrill Lynch Investment Consulting Company), the
gnawing rate of American children has reached a terrifying 79%, and
the annual cost of American parents to their children has reached a
staggering $500billion. This part of the cost can be said to be ud
in all aspects of children. From high tuition fees, expensive wedding
hous and cars, monthly rent, to children's mobile phones, clothes
and pocket money. In addition, a third of Americans aged 18 to 35
still live with their parents. Many of them do not work, stay at home
every day, eat, drink and have fun, all of which are borne by their
parents. This data is all made by Americans themlves, and it's not
our nonn. It is estimated that Americans themlves do not
know why they are so "independent"? When an 18-year-old
American young man drives a car his parents bought and us his
parents' money to buy a mobile phone brush, he may wonder how
he can be "passively" expelled from his home? In real American
society, there is gnawing on the old, but also human feelings. A few
