During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the main force of the

Chine Workers' and peasants' Red Army withdrew from the

Soviet areas in the north and south of the Yangtze River for

two years and reached the Shaanxi, Gansu and Soviet areas for

strategic transfer.

In October 1934, after the fifth round of anti-encirclement

and suppression failed, the main force of the Central Red Army

was forced to carry out a strategic shift and withdraw from the

central ba areas for the Long March in order to get rid of

the encirclement and pursuit of the Kuomintang forces.

The Long March is a great miracle in human history. The

Central Red Army fought more than 600 battles and captured more

than 700 counties. The Red Army sacrificed as many as 430

officers above the battalion, with an average age of less than

30 years old. Traveling about 25,000 li, the First Red Army

reached the revolutionary ba in Northern Shaanxi in October

1935 and successfully joined forces with the Red Army. In

October 1936, the Second and Fourth Red Army arrived in Huining,

Gansu Province and joined forces with the First Red Army. The three main forces of the Red Army joined forces, marking the

successful end of the long March.

The strategic transfer of the main force of the Chine

Workers' and Peasants' Red Army from the northern and southern

Soviet areas of the Yangtze River to the Shaanxi-Gansu

revolutionary ba areas (also known as Shaanxi-Gansu and

Soviet areas). The Long March ended in victory for us and defeat

for the enemy."

The Long March of the Chine Workers' and Peasants' Red Army

did not u the name "Long March" at first. At the beginning

of the action of the Central Red Army, the action goal was to

meet with the Red 2 and Red 6 legions in the western Hunan-Hubei

area, and then carry out a counterattack to break the Kuomintang

army's "encircle and suppress" and restore the Central Soviet

area. Therefore, the names ud at that time were "long march

and battle", "expedition", "transfer" or "strategic transfer",

while in the orders and instructions issued by the Central

Revolutionary Military Commission and the Red Army

headquarters organs, they were called "westward expedition"

and "breakout". The names were ud until May 1935, when the

Central Red Army pasd through the Yi People Area. At this time, it had been more than ven months since the Central Red Army

left the Central Soviet area of Jiangxi.

In May 1935, the Central Red Army entered the Yi People area

in the Mianning area of Daliang Mountain. Zhu De,

commander-in-chief of the Red Army, issued the Notice of the

Chine Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. The notice read: "The

Red Army has a long march and its direction is unstoppable."

In the establishment of Mianning County Reform Committee

conference, Zhu De speech and mentioned the word "Long March".
