Eat a Donut and Turn right
一 教材分析
1.單元及課文分析
本單元主要圍繞“社區”這個話題編排。在本單元中學生將會學習一些有關描述和談論社區的詞匯,短語和句型,包括商業區,居民和社區風景等。學生將會區分不同的地點和位置并且學習尋求幫助,問路指路。本單元語法重點為becau引導的原因狀語從句。在本課教學過程中,重點操練了問路指路的日常用語。
2. 教學重點
1. Learning some new words and phras of lesson 21: downtown, coffee,
through, cherry, sidewalk, himlf, entrance, be/get lost, Can you tell me the
way to…? Turn right/left at the… crossing.
2. Talking about asking for help when we lost the way.
3. 教學難點
ial Clau with “becau”.

二.教學步驟:
1.溫故知新。(5 minutes)
Check some words and phras of lesson 21: downtown, coffee, through,
cherry, sidewalk, himlf, entrance, be/get lost, Can you tell me the way

to…? Turn right/left at the… crossing.
2.激情導入。(5 minutes)
Have you ever lost your way?
What do you do if someone asks you for directions?
3.新課學習。(30 minutes)
Step one:
Read the lesson and write true (T) or fal (F). (At first, read the four
questions and know the meaning. Second, read the dialogue quickly and fill in
the blanks. Then , read the dialogue one ntence by one ntence and find
something that it’s important or you don’t understand it. At last, Write down
something important on your notebook.)
Check the answers as a class.
Step two:
Instruct the students to read Lesson 21 silently and write true of fal
independently.
Students should check and correct their answers in groups.
Discuss the answers a a class and correct any fla statements.
Step three:
Read carefully and fill in the table: What’s Danny’s way to the movie
theatre?
Step four:
learn the language points and fill in tne blanks with the words in the box.

Step five: Work in groups .One of you asks the way,the other shows the
way,make a new dialogue. ( Finish number 4 of Let’s Do It.)
四、達標訓練,作業布置。(5 minutes)

板書設計:

五、教學反思:
在教這一課時,問路以及怎樣回答是這課的難點,我認為有些學生在理解方面很有難度,要教學生如何問路,以及如何指引學生回答。這組句型比較大,靈活性較強,句子結構較復雜,所涉及的詞組較多,學生理解起來有一定的難度,但是一旦學生理解了其中的內涵,就比較容易掌握。我3
根據課文內容創設情景并提供一些有針對性的問題,以便學生能比較容易地理解課文內容。
課文的后半部分較前半部分較簡單。學會整篇課文要求學生復述式表演課文,這樣有利于學生對課文的進一步理解與掌握。然后讓同學自己理解每句話的意思以及相符的動作。有的分組討論,有的獨立思考等,聯系舊知在進一步組成對話。
