一、用作動(dòng)詞

表示“介意”、“在乎”等，其后接動(dòng)詞時(shí)要用動(dòng)名詞;表示“注意”、“當(dāng)心”等，其后接動(dòng)詞時(shí)要用不定式。如：

Do you mind helping us? 請你幫我們一下忙好嗎?

I’m sure he wouldn’t mind your going with us. 我肯定他不會(huì)反對你同我們一起去。

There will be a meeting tonight. Mind not to be late. 今晚有會(huì)議, 注意別遲到。

二、用作名詞

表示“腦子”、“心思”等，通常用作可數(shù)名詞。如：

I’ve a good mind to go home. 我很想回家。 He has a mind for science. 他有學(xué)科學(xué)的頭腦。

We are all of one mind on this subject. 在這個(gè)問題上我們大家意見一致。

注：在某些諺語或固定短語中，可能是不可數(shù)的。如：

Out of sight, out of mind. 眼不見，心不煩。

三、用于 Would [Do] ?

1. 該句型意為“請你……好不好?”、“倘若……你見怪嗎?”，用would 比用 do 更客氣委婉，但通常不用 will;其后可接動(dòng)名詞(但不接不定式)或 if從句;接動(dòng)名詞時(shí)，根據(jù)情況可以帶邏輯主語;接if 從句時(shí)，若句首用的是 Would，從句謂語通常要用過去式。比較：

我在這兒抽煙你介意嗎?

正：Would [Do] you mind my smoking here?

正：Do you mind if I smoke here?

正：Would you mind if I smoked here?

2. 對該句型的回答與漢語的習(xí)慣不同，注意回答是針對

mind 而言的，即： (1)表示不同意，可用：Yes, I do mind./Plea don’t... / Better

not, plea. / I’d rather you didn’t./I’m sorry, 等。

(2)表示同意，可用：Oh, no, plea. / No, not at all./Not at all.

Certainly not. / Of cour not. / No, go ahead. 等。

以上回答大部分語氣都比較客氣，但有的語氣較生硬(如 Yes,

I do mind)，要注意在具體語境中適當(dāng)選用。

四、用于 make up one’s mind(決定，決心)：

I’ve made up my mind to be a doctor. 我決定當(dāng)醫(yī)生。

We made up our minds to spend our holiday in the country.

我們決定到鄉(xiāng)下去度假。

Do 的用法

Do .../ Would ... 表示請求允許或者征求對方意見。

一、基本用法

1、其后可以接 if 從句，但不能接whether從句。接if從句時(shí)，從句的謂語通常要用過去式。

例：Would you mind if I clod the window?我把窗戶關(guān)上你介意嗎?

2、后面可以接動(dòng)名詞，但不能接不定式。

例：Would you mind helping me ? 請幫幫我的忙好嗎?

3、可以說Do ...? 也可以說 Would ...?

但不能說Will ...?

1、表示同意(不介意)的答語：

No,thats all right. 不介意，沒關(guān)系。

No, go ahead , plea. 不介意，請吧。

Certainly not . 當(dāng)然不介意。

2、表示不同意(介意)的答語：

三、特殊用法

Do you mind ... ... 還可以表示氣憤或反感。意為“請別這樣做”，“別來這一套”“你怎么搞的”
