英語六級單句翻譯黃金三準則

漢語常被稱為時間型的動態(tài)結(jié)構(gòu)，主要體現(xiàn)為形式自由、富于彈性。

而英語則以“主-謂”的主干結(jié)構(gòu)為中心來統(tǒng)領(lǐng)各語言成分，句界分明，

外形嚴謹。因此在漢譯英時，譯文在邏輯和形式上都應(yīng)當體現(xiàn)出英語

的特點。如果是單句，首先應(yīng)當確立句子的主干及句型，如果是復(fù)雜

的句子或長句，則要確立中心，根據(jù)上下文進行句子組合，可以譯為

并列句、主從復(fù)合句(名詞性從句、定語從句、狀語從句等)、并列復(fù)

合句或使用獨立結(jié)構(gòu)等。

(一)確立翻譯句式主干

在漢譯英時，不管漢語句子如何復(fù)雜，首先要考慮英語的基本組句框

架。這些最基本的框架可以變換，可以組合，但不能突破。組織英語

句子時，始終不能脫離“主-謂”主干這一總的框架，然后再進行相應(yīng)

的時態(tài)變化、語態(tài)變化、語氣變化、句式轉(zhuǎn)換(肯定式、否定式、疑

問式、強調(diào)句式及倒裝句式等)，增加定語、狀語修飾成分、插入語

等。

(二)語序調(diào)整

1.定語的位置

漢語的定語常放在中心語前;而英語的定語位置分為兩種：前置和后

置。單詞充當定語時通常

放在被修飾的中心語之前;而短語和從句作定語則多放在所修飾的中

心語之后。

2.狀語的位置

漢語常把狀語放在被修飾的成分前面，但英語中狀語的位置則分為幾

種情況：單詞做狀語修飾形容詞或其他狀語時，常前置;表示程度的

狀語修飾其他狀語時，可前置或后置;單詞作狀語修飾動詞時，多放

在動詞之后;短語或從句作狀語時，可放在被修飾部分之前或之后。

3.漢英敘事重心不同

漢語先敘事，然后表態(tài)或評論，以此來突出話題，這種句子被稱為主

題句。而英語則先表態(tài)或進行評論，而后再敘事，以突出主語。

4.強弱詞語的順序不同

表示感情色彩的輕重、強弱時，漢語將重的內(nèi)容、強的詞語放在前面;

英語將語義輕的內(nèi)容、弱的詞語放在前面，基本原則是前輕后重，前

簡后繁。

(三)段落的銜接

段落的銜接是指段落中各部分在語法和詞匯方面有關(guān)聯(lián)，即段落的各

個部分的排列和銜接要符合邏輯。漢語和英語在銜接手法上迥異。在

漢譯英時，要注意通過詞的增補、替代等技巧把漢語的銜接習慣轉(zhuǎn)化

為英語的銜接習慣。
