用“ate”記憶的詞 late; gate; hate;rate; mate

1. late adj&adv 遲到的 ；lately adv 最近地（recently 完成時的標志）

I have accomplished the task lately

I am sorry for coming late

He worked into late hours

比較級：later adj 稍后的； 重點短語：later on 后來

He realized his mistakes later on

Really adv

Reality n 現(xiàn)實

Latter adj 后者 重點短語：the former ; the latter 前者；后者

記憶方法：later+t

t 是稍后一些的（later）所以說t是后者

最高級：Latest adj 最新的 the latest product最新產(chǎn)品

Last adj 最后的 ; 最近的； 上一個 v 持續(xù)

At last=in the end =finally

Last year

The last meeting lasted a long time 上一個會議持續(xù)了很長時間

2. gate n大門

investigate v 調(diào)查 investigation

投資前（invest）需要在門口（gate）做調(diào)查

Invest v 投資 investment n investor n 投資商

例句：you must investigate before you make investment 投資前要做好調(diào)查

投到在里面（in）為了最好的（vest=best） 回報就是投資

3. hate v&n 討厭 hatred n 厭惡

用法：hate doing sth ; I hate it when you persuade me into accepting sth I don’t want

Persuade v 說服

Ad 廣告 （adida）一個人（per）訴說（su）一個廣告（ad）

4. rate n&v 率

accurate adj 精確的

一次次（acc）算利率（rate）為了精確

Accelerate v 增加 acceleration

一次次（cc）ele (踩油門) 速率（rate）增加了

5. mate n 伙伴；同學 teammate 隊友，roommate 室友

Climate n 氣候

記憶方法：classmate 只剩下climate 了，因為氣候不好
