英語中的基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞

一、基數(shù)詞

表示數(shù)目的詞稱為基數(shù)詞，要掌握英語中的基數(shù)詞，必須做

到以下幾點(diǎn)：

1） 掌握100以內(nèi)基數(shù)詞的英語表達(dá)法。

1 one 11 eleven 21 twenty-one

2 two 12 twelve 29 twenty-nine

3 three 13 thirteen 30 thirty

4 four14 fourteen 40 forty

5 five15 fifteen50 fifty

6 six 16 sixteen60 sixty

7 ven 17 venteen70 venty

8 eight 18 eighteen 80 eighty

9 nine19 nineteen 90 ninety

10 ten 20 twenty 100 one hundred

2）100以內(nèi)的基數(shù)詞中，數(shù)字13—19的詞尾都是teen，

20—90（僅指整十位數(shù)）的詞尾都是ty。

3）注意區(qū)別英語中的“十幾”和“幾十”的重音區(qū)別。以

teen收尾的數(shù)詞有兩個(gè)重音，以ty收尾的數(shù)詞只第一音節(jié)有重音，

例如：thirteen讀成[``ti:n],twenty讀成[`twenti],sixteen讀成

[`siks`ti:n],sixty讀成 [`siksti]。

4）至于英語中的多位數(shù)，將在后面的“多位數(shù)數(shù)字與電話號(hào)

碼”中提到。

二、序數(shù)詞

表示數(shù)目順序的詞稱為序數(shù)詞。在聽力測(cè)驗(yàn)中，有時(shí)會(huì)出現(xiàn)關(guān)于

序數(shù)詞的題目，考生應(yīng)特別注意。

1）在1至20的數(shù)字中，one,two,three的序數(shù)詞分別為first,

cond, third。其它序數(shù)詞都是在基數(shù)詞后加上th構(gòu)成，但必須注

意一些特殊的序數(shù)詞的拼法和讀音，如：five—fifth,eight—

eighth,nine—ninth,twelve—twelfth,twenty—twentieth.

2）twenty以上整十位數(shù)序數(shù)詞是將ty中的y變?yōu)?/span>i再加

thirtieth[[``tii ]（由雙音節(jié)變?yōu)槿艄?jié)）

3）注意第二十一等序數(shù)詞的表示法。例如：

第二十一：twenty-first

第三十三：thirty-third

第四十五：fourty-fifth
