董永傳說
1、簡介
“董永傳說”是我國古代民間傳說。金壇“董永傳說”的發源地在江蘇省常州金壇市
直溪鎮境內的董永村(原名董里)。光緒版《金壇縣志》多處記載了孝子董永和七仙女及其
子鶴生的傳說。在金壇直溪境內,與董永傳說相關的遺存、遺跡和實物多達40多處(件)。
金壇境內有董永廟、望仙橋和董永墓遺;望仙橋下有乾隆年間《望仙橋重建記》碑文;
董永與七仙女訂情的老槐樹尚在金壇;光緒版《金壇縣志》有董永、望仙橋、董墓及望仙
古石等多處記載;金壇歷代名賢詠嘆董永與七仙女的詩詞很多。
2、歷史源流
董永傳說始于漢代,最早出現在東漢武梁祠畫像石,漢代文學家劉向根據這段故事寫
成了《孝子圖傳贊》。三國時曹植的《靈芝篇》有描述:“董永遭家貧,父老財無遺。舉假
以供養,傭作致甘肥。責家填門至,不知何用歸。天靈感至德,神女為秉機。”東晉干寶在
《搜神記》中寫下了“董永賣身葬父、仙女下凡相助”的故事,語言簡樸,情節已趨完整。
唐代,敦煌寫卷中的《搜神記一卷·行孝第一》、《孝子傳》、《董永變文》等對董永故事做了
儒釋道綜合改編,最后以俗講這一唐代佛寺禪門講經同民間講唱文學相結合的形式對董永
故事在下層民眾中的傳播起到了非常廣泛的影響。“董仲尋母”情節是敦煌民間說唱藝人的
獨特藝術創造,也是迄唐代為止董永故事中最精彩的情節,其中隨處可見佛道二教的影響。
宋元時代,隨著說書行業的發達,“董永遇仙”的傳說在話本中流行。明代,經過文人洪梗
的采編、整理,將此收入他的《清平山堂話本》的“雨窗集”中,使之保存了下來。嘉靖
前后,民間藝人又依據宋元話本《董永遇仙》改編成戲曲《槐蔭樹》、《織錦記》、《遇仙記》
等,將董永的形象搬上了舞臺。

董永行孝故事被奉為典范,列為二十四孝之一,這與人們樸素的道德觀念有著密切的
聯系;董永傳說的思想核心是孝敬父母,這也是中華民族所提倡的傳統美德,與當今倡導
的社會主義精神文明相吻合,已經成為社會主義道德風尚的重要組成部分,這是該傳說具
有的現實性特征。董永傳說以口頭民間文學的形式,經過歷代文學家的藝術加工,逐步演
變成驚天動地的天上人間情緣,演繹為孝心感天、賣身織縑、下凡結緣、滿工回家、天地
同心等充滿神奇色彩的誘人情節,使這一故事歷經千年而不衰,具有鮮明的傳奇性特征。

“董永傳說”在當地家喻戶曉,婦孺皆知,但因是口耳相傳,其傳承譜系互相交叉,
難以一一梳理,現可追溯的主要有三支:(1)李雙孝、李林春、李書知、李中正;(2)吳
小鳳、李云發、李云良;(3)李金才、李向榮、李瑞蘭。
